Join Open Access Arts on the Village Green

Saturday 16 June 2018
Crystal Palace Park
Village Green
The Village Green will bring together the most inspiring charities and community groups to meet and engage with our visitors. It is a fantastic platform for these incredible organisations to connect with thousands of south Londoners and together make our home a better place for everyone.
Choirs, brass and steel bands and perhaps a little dancing? Why not relax in the atmosphere of our brand new Village Green and be entertained by the wonderful
talents of our local community on the Village Green Bandstand?
With food and drink nearby in The Farmers’ Market and at the Craft Beer Bar, you can picnic on the Green and take in performances by local choirs and bands and, if you fancy it, even join in a dance workshop!
Close by are tons of crafts, community and charity stalls and activities if you fancy a browse and a shop!
Connecting communities, engaging people in volunteering, growing our social capital and
ensuring we protect and share our passion for arts, culture and heritage is what the Village Green is all about.
Open Access Arts - Living History - Sofa Stories
Be part of the Festival living history archive! Join us in our fabulous tent in the Village Green and whilst enjoying free tea and biscuits on our pop-up sofa, share with us your memories of Crystal Palace. We will voice record your story, and our award-winning photographer Ron Bambridge will take a headshot to accompany your story. These stories will then be archived by the Festival and YOU will be history! Each of us is a constantly unfolding narrative, we are all natural storytellers, and we want to hear
from YOU!
